• CONNECTICON!!! Is anyone else going? I'll be there on Saturday cosplaying BLU Spy from Team Fortress 2.
• The Military Museum of Southern New England. I went with my family on an open turret day, which means I got to crawl all over and in a bunch of tanks! It was like a playground for military buffs. Awesome. :3
• My Star Trek t-shirt from Urban Outfitters. It's sold out now. I got it for $10 and I've been wearing it almost constantly.
  
• Going back to school! The anticipation is rising.

I'm particularly stoked about the thrifting the Seibei tee; but silly me forgot to take a picture where my hand wasn't blocking the design. If you can't tell, it is a picture of a mummy smoking a cig and saying "Who wants to live forever?"

Story of the backwards tunic: In the shop, I accidentally tried it on backwards and liked it. I only discovered it was backwards when I took it off! So I tried it on the right way and it looked awful. Bought it, ripped out tag, wore backwards. The end.

Gauchos converted into a harem/Hammer pants-like creation. Do you like my recessionista ingenuity? *rolls eyes* I think that term is already overused! Oh well. For those of you wondering how to do it:

1. Take a hair elastic and tightly gather the excess pant leg behind your knee.
2. Tuck the gathered section underneath the rest of the pant leg.
3. Repeat on the other leg.

In other news, my article on thrifting got me in the mood, so yesterday I went for a quick shop. Not much luck though; I forgot to bring my offering to the thrift gods (donation)! I did score a couple of things, though:
